- “Reaffirming the Board of Directors’ commitment to enhancing shareholder value, SK Square will carefully prepare for new investment.”

SK Square (CEO Kim Jung-kyu, www.sksquare.com) announced a shareholder return plan, the largest since the company’s founding in 2021, as an effort to improve share-holder value. Details of the shareholder return plan will be determined through rele-vant procedures after the company finalizes its FY2026 financial statements.

SK Square plans to offer shareholder returns of KRW 4.3 trillion in the cash divi-dends of KRW 6.2 trillion from SK Hynix.

According to the 2027 shareholder return plan announced by SK Square, financial resources available for SK Hynix’s cash dividends for 2026 amount to over KRW 30 trillion. Given its stake in SK Hynix, SK Square is expected to receive KRW 6.2 trillion or more in cash dividends.

SK Square also disclosed its plan to implement shareholder returns worth of 60% or more of its ordinary dividend income by 2028 and to return 100% of the special divi-dend income from SK Hynix’s investment in Kioxia as defined in SK Hynix’s share-holder return plan(October 28th, 2026).

SK Square’s shareholder return plan offers significantly higher shareholder returns compared to its existing 2026-2028 Shareholder Return Policy which aims to provide shareholder returns worth of ‘30% or more of the ordinary dividend income + a por-tion of the investment gains’.

Specifically, SK Square plans to double the shareholder returns from ordinary divi-dend income compared to the level under its existing shareholder return policy, by 2028. It also aims to return 100% of the special dividend income received this time to shareholders.

SK Square has proactively established a sustainable shareholder return structure by transferring KRW 5.89 trillion from capital reserves to retained earnings.

“This shareholder return plan reaffirms our Board of Directors’ commitment to en-hancing shareholder value,” said SK Square. “We will carefully prepare for new invest-ment based on our reasonable capital allocation principles.”
